Abstract

"APARELHO E MéTODO PARA O RESFRIAMENTO DE AR DE ADMISSãO DE TURBINA DE COMBUSTãO USANDO UM COMBUSTìVEL DE HIDROCARBONETO LìQUIDO". Um combustível líquido para uma planta de energia é vaporizado contra um fluido de troca de calor, resfriando o fluido. Um circuito de recirculação (32) permite que o fluido resfriado seja redirecionado de volta para um resfriamento adicional, quando desejado. O fluido resfriado é usado para resfriamento do ar de entrada para uma turbina de combustão (16). Parte do fluido resfriado está periodicamente se dirigindo para o fundo de um tanque estratificado (12), a partir do qual ela pode ser retirada, durante momentos em que a necessidade de ou o valor de resfriamento do ar de entrada for mais alta (o). O fluido é aquecido, conforme ele resfria o ar de entrada, e pode ser retornado para uso na vaporização de um combustível adicional, ou retornado para o topo do tanque estratificado (12).
