Abstract
"APARELHO DE COMUTAçãO DE MúLTIPLOS SINAIS DE RF". Um aparelho de comutação de RF múltiplo (12), como um incluído ou acoplado a um receptor de sinal via satélite de difusão, tendo uma pluralidade de portas de entrada de múltiplos sinais de RF (14A, 14B, 14C, 14D) para receber os respectivos de uma pluralidade de sinais de RF, como sinais de televisão via satélite de difusão, utiliza um indicador de intensidade de sinal relativo, como um sinal de controle de ganho automático, para determinar a diferença entre o sinal de entrada verdadeiro que está presente em uma pluralidade de portas de entrada de sinal e um sinal falso que parece estar presente em outra porta de entrada de sinal da pluralidade de portas de entrada de sinal devido ao sinal de RF que sangra entre as portas de entrada de múltiplos sinais. Durante uma determinação da configuração de instalação ou rotina (50), o aparelho de comutação passa através de cada entrada de sinal de RF, extrai a informação da rede de transmissão pertinente (como uma rede de transmissão via satélite), determina um indicador de intensidade de sinal relativo para o sinal de RF, e compara a informação obtida. Os dados de instalação são armazenados para cada entrada de sinal de RF de acordo com a comparação.
