Abstract
"SISTEMA E MéTODO PARA REPOUSO DE CANAL DE TRáFEGO EM MODO SOCKET DE COMUNICAçãO SEM FIO". Em um sistema de comunicação sem fio tal como um sistema CDMA, um canal de tráfego que suporta dois aplicativos rodando no modo socket em uma estação móvel pode entrar em repouso e é liberado quando os respectivos períodos de ociosidade associados a cada socket expiram, isso é, quando não existe mais transmissão através do canal de tráfego pelo período mais longo dentre dois períodos de ociosidade potencialmente desiguais.
