Abstract

"MéTODO PARA FABRICAçãO DE CATALISADORES APOIADOS EM SìLICA, RESISTENTES à DESTRUIçãO". A presente invenção refere-se a um método para fabricação de um catalisador apoiado em sílica envolve impregnação de um componente de sílica com um metal catalítico usando um banho aquoso, alcalino, antes da secagem. Mais especificamente, o método envolve formação e lavagem de um componente de sílica, tal como uma sílica-gel ou um co-gel, por exemplo, um co-gel de sílica-zircónia. Então, o componente de sílica lavado é contatado com o banho alcalino para realizar a impregnação com o metal catalítico, tal como, césio, para formar um componente de sílica ativado. Subseq³entemente, o componente de sílica ativado é seco para formar o catalisador. Os catalisadores resultantes demonstram boa resistência mecânica.
