Abstract

"INVóLUCRO PROTETOR COM NERVURAS AMORTECEDORAS PASSANTES E PROCESSO PARA FABRICá-LO". A presente invenção e um invólucro protetor que provê proteção e gerenciamento de energia para uma peça ou dispositivo sensível ou frágil que pode ser encerrada. O invólucro compreende um ou mais componentes estruturais rígidos (10) e um ou mais componentes de superfície de toque macio (20) a partir dos quais uma ou mais nervuras (21, 22) se originam e passam através do (s) componente (s) estrutural (is) rígido (s) (10) para prover o gerenciamento de energia para a peça ou dispositivo quando ele está encerrado. O material da superfície de toque macio e da nervura pode ser um material plástico, de módulo baixo, tal como um elastómero termoplástico e pode opcionalmente ser formado para prover maciez para o efeito de superfície de toque suave e/ou para as necessidades de gerenciamento de energia nas nervuras passantes. Poliuretano termoplástico (TPU) é um termoplástico particularmente adequado.
