Abstract

"MéTODO USADO NA LOCALIZAçãO DE UM TRANSMISSOR MóVEL E SISTEMA DE LOCALIZAçãO SEM FIO (WLS) PARA LOCALIZAR UM TRANSMISSOR MóVEL". Um método, usado na localização de um transmissor móvel, inclui prover um conjunto de valores de correlação cruzada, onde cada valor de correlação cruzada está associado com uma correspondente estimativa de TDOA e/ou FCOA e é produzido fazendo a correlação cruzada de um sinal de referência com um sinal cooperativo (fig. 5). O sinal de referência compreende uma cópia de um sinal transmitido pelo transmissor móvel como recebido em uma primeira antena e o sinal cooperativo compreende uma cópia do mesmo sinal como recebido em uma segunda antena. o método adicionalmente inclui determinar uma faixa mais provável de estimativas de TDOA e/ou FDOA, e então identificar um valor de correlação cruzada ótimo dentro de um subconjunto de valores de correlação cruzada (fig. 10) correspondente à faixa a mais provável de estimativas de TDOA e/ou FDOA. O valor de TDOA e/ou FDOA correspondente ao valor ótimo de correlação cruzada é então empregado no cálculo da localização do transmissor móvel.
