Abstract

"COMPOSIçãO PARA USO COMO UM REFORçADOR EM COMPOSIçõES DETERGENTES, E, PROCESSO PARA A MANUFATURA DE UM MATERIAL GRANULAR". Uma composição, para uso como um reforçador em composições detergentes, compreende um material granular contendo um silicato de metal alcalino e um carbonato de metal alcalino, caracterizada pelo fato de o silicato de metal alcalino ter uma relação molar, SiO~ 2~ para M~ 2~O, em que M é um metal alcalino, na faixa de 2,4: 1 a 3,0: 1, a quantidade de silicato nos grânulos, calculado como SiO~ 2~, ter pelo menos 30% em peso, a quantidade de carbonato de metal alcalino nos grânulos, expresso como material anidro, ter menos do que 35% em peso e a quantidade de água nos grânulos ser menor do que 25% em peso. Um processo preferido, para a manufatura de tais composições, compreende as etapas de (a) preparar uma mistura aquosa de um silicato de metal alcalino e um carbonato de metal alcalino, (b) secar por pulverização dita mistura aquosa e (c) compactar o pó secado por pulverização, desse modo produzido, para formar grânulos de dita composição. Em um processo alternativo, a mistura aquosa de silicato e carbonato é secada e, opcionalmente, granulada em um tambor contendo uma multiplicidade de braços rotativos e dentro do qual um gás aquecido é introduzido.
