Abstract

"DISCO A LASER, E, MéTODOS PARA PROPORCIONAR ACESSO A CONTEúDO DE MúSICA DIGITAL, E PARA OFERECER PROTEçãO CONTRA CóPIA PARA UM DISCO A LASER". Um disco a laser protegido contra cópia (200) de preferência é munido de uma primeira sessão que inclui o conteúdo de áudio digital standard (204) em um formato que é legível por uma leitora de CD convencional. Também inclui uma segunda sessão que é configurada para oferecer ao computador de um usuário acesso a uma forma alternativa do mesmo conteúdo de áudio digital (210), porém que está sujeita a um protocolo de direitos digitais, tal como um protocolo que requer uma chave para ler ou copiar o conteúdo de áudio. A tecnologia de proteção contra cópia é adicionalmente prestada sobre o disco a laser de modo a frustrar o computador de um usuário de identificar o conteúdo de áudio digital padrão (204) como tal e desse modo dirigir o computador para a segunda sessão e o conteúdo de áudio alternativo (210). A tecnologia de proteção contra cópia de preferência é uma configuração dos dados de controle que está localizada na área de entrada (202) do disco a laser.
