Abstract

"DISCO óPTICO DE ACESSO CONTROLADO E MéTODO PARA O MESMO". Um disco óptico é revelado tendo um conjunto de trilhas primárias e um conjunto de trilhas alternadas. Pelo menos algumas das trilhas primárias e alternadas são associadas. Quando um leitor de CD-DA acessa o disco óptico, localiza apenas as trilhas primárias. Em contraste, quando um leitor de dados como uma unidade de CD-ROM acessa o disco, modificações na Tabela de Conteúdos (TOC) faz com que o leitor de dados não acesse uma trilha primária dada do contrário seja direcionado para sua trilha alternada associada. Esta trilha alternada pode conter dados de áudio (CD-DA) que podem ou não corresponder aos dados de CD-DA na trilha primária associada. As trilhas alternadas podem ser protegidas contra cópia e/ou podem incluir dados compactados (não CDDA) que são o assunto de gerenciamento de direitos digitais.
