Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA A PRODUçãO DE LINGOTES DE GRANDE DIâMETRO DE LIGAS à BASE DE NìQUEL". Processo para produção de uma liga à base de níquel, que inclui o vazamento de uma liga dentro de um molde de fundição, e recozimento e superenvelhecimento subseq³entes do lingote a pelo menos 649<198>C (1.200<198>F), por pelo menos 10 horas. O lingote é refundido por eletroescória, a uma velocidade de fusão de pelo menos 3,63 kg/min (8 1b/min) , e o lingote ESR é depois transferido para um forno de aquecimento em um período de 4 horas de solidificação completa e é submetido a um novo pós-tratamento térmico ESR. Um eletrodo VAR adequado é proporcionado do lingote ESR, e o eletrodo é refundido a arco a vácuo, a uma velocidade de fusão de 3,63 a 5,00 kg/min (8 a 11 1b/min), para proporcionar um lingote VAR. O processo propicia lingotes VAR de qualidade prêmio, tendo diâmetros superiores a 762 mm (30 in), que são preparados de Liga 718 e outras superligas à base de níquel submetidas a segregação significativa durante a fundição.
