Abstract

"MéTODO DE CODIFICAçãO DE FILME E MéTODO DE DECODIFICAçãO DE FILME". A presente invenção refere-se a um aparelho de codificação de filme (70) para a execução de uma codificação de previsão interimagens para imagens que constituem um filme, é provido com uma unidade de codificação (103) para a execução de uma codificação de erro de previsão para dados de imagem; uma unidade de decodificação (105) para a execução de uma decodificação de previsão interimagens para uma saída da unidade de codificação (103); uma memória de imagem de referência (117) para a manutenção dos dados de saída da unidade de decodificação (105); e uma unidade de detecção de vetor de movimento (108) para a detecção de vetores de movimento com base nos dados de imagem decodificados armazenados na memória. Quando da codificação de uma imagem B como uma imagem alvo, uma informação indicando se a imagem alvo deve ou não ser usada como uma imagem de referência quando da codificação de uma outra imagem alvo é adicionada como uma informação de cabeçalho. Portanto, em um aparelho de decodificação para a decodificação de um fluxo de bits Bs extraído a partir do aparelho de codificação de filme (70), o gerenciamento de uma memória para a manutenção da imagem de referência pode ser facilitada com base na informação de cabeçalho.
