Abstract

"ELETRODO DE FIO PARA CORTE POR EROSãO DE CENTELHA". Um eletrodo de fio para um corte por erosão de centelha de metais, de cerâmica eletricamente condutora, etc., que compreende ou um centro homogêneo (1) feito de um metal ou de uma liga metálica, ou um centro composto feito de um núcleo de aço com um revestimento de cobre ou de liga de cobre, em que o eletrodo de fio compreende pelo menos dois revestimentos de capa feitos de ligas de zinco, com os ditos revestimentos desgastando durante a erosão. De modo a aumentar o desempenho durante o corte em alta velocidade, um tal eletrodo de fio compreende um revestimento de capa interno (2) predominantemente compreendendo o latão <225>,e um revestimento de capa externo (3) predominantemente compreendendo o latão <sym>, que a fração da fase <225>/<225>' ou da fase <sym> nos dois revestimentos de capa é de pelo menos 60%. A razão da espessura de revestimento do latão <225> para o latão <sym> está entre 0,3 e 7. A soma das espessuras de ambos os revestimentos de capa em relação ao diâmetro externo do eletrodo está entre 0,1 e 0,3.b
