A invenção refere-se a um processo para a hidroformilação de olefinas com 5 até 24, particularmente 5 até 12 átomos de carbono, em presença de complexos de cobalto-carbonila por meio de manutenção de uma fase aquosa de fundo no reator de hidroformilação.
