Abstract
"COMUTADOR PLANAR DE SEGMENTO DE CARBONO". Um comutador planar de segmento de carbono compreende uma base de comutador (10) de material isolante. A base possui um eixo de rotação e superfícies frontal e posterior estendendo-se, pelo menos em parte, transversalmente ao eixo de rotação. Diversa aberturas (16) se estendem através da base. O comutador compreende também diversos terminais de comutador (20), cada um dos quais compreende uma porção de terminal (21) e uma porção de contato (22). A porção de contato (22) de cada terminal se estende através de uma respectiva primeira abertura (16) e é curvada para se apoiar ou estar próxima à superfície frontal da base (10). A porção terminal de cada terminal (20) possui uma borda cortante para cortar o isolamento em uma porção de conector de um enrolamento e uma fenda que, em uso, envolve e aperta citada porção de conector. O comutador também compreende diversos segmentos de carbono (30) formados na superfície frontal da base e ao longo das porções de contato (22), respectivamente, dos terminais (20) e um alojamento (Figura 9) possuindo diversos recessos de alojamento para receber porções de terminal (21), respectivamente, do terminal.
