Abstract

"MONITORAMENTO DE CONDIçõES PNEUMáTICAS". Pelo menos uma condição dinâmica de um pneumático de um veículo é determinada pela medida da posição angular rotacional do pneumático e/ou da roda ou do suporte da roda em que o pneumático está montado. A medida da posição é de preferência combinada com medidas do transceptor de pressão e/ou de temperatura do pneumático e a informação de medida é transmitida de uma antena do pneumático ou da roda para um receptor com uma ou mais antenas no veículo. As medidas podem ser combinadas com um dispositivo de regulagem de pressão do pneumático. A posição angular rotacional de preferência é medida pelo monitoramento de flutuações no acoplamento da força RF entre as antenas de transmissão e de recepção. Em uma modalidade preferida, transceptores e antenas estão dispostos tanto no pneumático como na roda ou no suporte da roda para o propósito de monitorar a posição angular rotacional de um pneumático em relação a sua roda ou suporte de roda, desse modo indicando efeitos de torsão no pneumático. De preferência, a antena do pneumático na modalidade preferida é montada dentro do pneumático próxima à circunferência externa do pneumático.
