Abstract

"PROCESSO DE OBTENçãO DE PASTILHA à BASE DE PRé-LIGAS DE FERRO-ALUMìNIO PRODUZIDAS A PARTIR DE PóS ATOMIZADOS, PARA USO COMO ELEMENTO DE ADIçãO EM LIGAS DE ALUMìNIO E PASTILHA OBTIDA PELO PROCESSO", que visa impor avanços em relação aos métodos tradicionais para a obtenção destas pastilhas, onde se faz a adição de elementos de liga em banhos metálicos de alumínio através da utilização de portadores de liga na forma de pastilhas. Estas pastilhas são obtidas através de misturas de pós compactados, com composição geralmente entre 75 e 85% do elemento principal ( Manganês, Ferro, Cromo, Cobre, etc.) e 15 a 25% de alumínio. O objetivo desta patente é proteger um novo produto desenvolvido para indústria de alumínio com o principal objetivo de impor melhorias tecnológicas e reduzir custos, mediante uma pastilha pré-ligada, preferencialmente com 90% de ferro e 10% de alumínio, desenvolvida a partir do processo de fusão de ferro e alumínio por atomização do metal líquido. O pó pré-ligado obtido neste processo é classificado e compactado posteriormente. Sendo a pastilha elaborada a partir de uma liga ferro-alumínio, é esperado um maior rendimento da mesma em banho de alumínio se comparada com o produto feito a partir de misturas.
