Abstract
"PRENDEDOR DE VáLVULA CARDìACA QUE RESISTE AO ENLAçAMENTO DE SUTURA". A presente invenção refere-se a um prendedor, sistema e método aperfeiçoados para a implantação de uma válvula cardíaca mitral protética do tipo tecido que impede o enlaçamento de sutura e pode ainda contrair as espigas de comissura da válvula. O prendedor pode incluir duas placas relativamente móveis, uma das quais se fixa à costura de válvula na extremidade de influxo do anel de válvula, e a outra que se fixa via suturas ou similares expedientes às comissuras de válvula na extremidade de escoamento. A separação das placas posiciona as suturas em tensão e contrai as comissuras. As suturas podem ser fios ou filamentos, ou podem ser faixas mais largas de material biocompatível flexível. Se as faixas são usadas, as mesmas desejavelmente cobrem as pontas de espiga de comissura a fim de ajudar ainda mais a impedir o enlaçamento de sutura sobre as mesmas. Os comprimentos flexíveis de material se estendem diretamente entre as comissuras da válvula, ou podem se estender no sentido radial interno a partir de cada comissura até um membro ereto central. De forma desejável, uma corrediça é criada pelos comprimentos flexíveis de material adjacente à cada espiga de comissura, por exemplo, ao cruzar filamentos de sutura nas ou no sentido radial interno a partir das espigas de comissura. Se um membro ereto é usado, os comprimentos de sutura se estendem no sentido axial além das pontas de espiga de comissura de modo a criar uma mecha que evita suturas que de outra forma podem se enlaçar em torno das pontas durante o avanço da válvula ao longo de um arranjo de suturas pró-implantadas.
