Abstract
"COMPLEXOS DE METAL DE TRANSIçãO TARDIA, SEU USO COMO CATALISADORES E POLìMEROS DESTES". A invenção fornece um novo complexo de metal que, quando usado com um co-catalisador de ativação, fornece uma nova composição catalisadora. A invenção também fornece um método de polimerização que utiliza a composição catalisadora para produzir polímeros e copolímeros contendo grupos de monómeros. Mais especificamente, a invenção compreende uma composição compreendendo a fórmula LMXZ~ n~, em que X é selecionado do grupo que consiste de haletos, hidreto, triflato, acetatos, boratos, alquila C~ 1~ a C~ 12~, alcóxi C~ 1~ a C~ 12~, cicloalquila C~ 3~ a C~ 12~, cicloalcóxi C~ 3~ a C~ 12~, arila, tiolatos, monóxido de carbono, cianato, olefinas, e qualquer outra porção na qual um monómero pode inserir. M é selecionado do grupo que consiste de Cu, Ag e Au. L é um ligando bidentado contendo nitrogênio tendo mais que dois átomos de nitrogênio. Z é um ligando de coordenação neutro e n é igual a 0, 1 ou 2.
