Abstract

"PROCESSO E APARELHO PARA FORMAR UM MODELO DE ARAME PARA VáLVULA CARDìACA". Sistema e processo para formar um modelo de arame tridimensional para válvulas cardíacas a partir de uma forma inicial bidimensional. O modelo de arame apresenta múltiplos cúspides arqueados e pontas de comissura opostamente direcionadas entre os mesmos, os cúspides e as pontas de comissura sendo orientados geralmente em um tubo em torno de um eixo. O arame bidimensional apresenta três cúspides e duas pontas de comissura, com duas extremidades livres apresentando segmentos dobrados. O sistema e o processo de modelagem de arame prendem as pontas de comissura, ou uma ponta de comissura e um segmento dobrado, e forma o cúspide entre as mesmas. O arame é preso por dois mandris axialmente paralelos e grampos cooperantes que axialmente giram e se movem mutuamente. Uma superfície de formação em cada mandril dobra uma metade do cúspide, as superfícies de formação sendo imagens invertidas de uma com relação à outra. A superfície de formação apresenta uma curvatura complexa especificamente projetada para formar um tamanho específico do modelo de arame em uma forma tridimensional final desejada. Depois do dobramento de todos os cúspides, as extremidades livres do arame são unidas, tal como com uma conexão tubular, e o modelo de arame montado em um tecido.
