Abstract

"MéTODO E APARELHO PARA REDUZIR PERDAS DE APARAMENTO DURANTE A ROLAGEM DE PLACAS E LINGOTES". A presente invenção refere-se ao método e aparelho para reduzir as perdas de aparamento durante a rolagem de placas e de lingotes diz respeito à formação de um lingote de placa que tem uma extremidade de topo especialmente configurada ou formada ou opcionalmente uma extremidade de cabeça também, Uma forma especial é formada por usinagem, forjamento ou preferivelmente por fundição. A forma especial da extremidade de topo é imprimida durante a fundição por um bloco de fundo ou bloco de partida especialmente formado. A forma especial do bloco de fundo é imposta à extremidade de topo do lingote fundido. A extremidade de topo especialmente formada de um lingote em forma de placa é geralmente retangular na forma e tem porções aumentadas, que se estendem longitudinalmente para fora as quais se inclinam para baixo na direção de uma região de vale central rebaixado. As laterais das porções de extremidade aumentadas e da região de vale rebaixado carregam bordas inclinadas ou curvas, que se estendem transversalmente. Uma forma similar pode ser imposta à extremidade de cabeça do lingote na conclusão de uma corrida de fundição através da utilização de um molde de topo quente especialmente formado ou por meio de usinagem ou de forjamento da extremidade de cabeça fundida. Durante a rolagem a quente subseq³ente em um laminador de desbastes de reversão, o lingote de placa especialmente formando minimiza a formação de sobreposição e de língua de modo a melhorar a recuperação de material pela redução das perdas de aparamento de extremidade e para aumentar a eficiência do laminador aumentando o rendimento de metal no laminador.
