Abstract

"PROCESSO E USINA PARA PRODUçãO DE FUNDIDO METáLICO". Em um processo para produção de um fundido metálico pela redução de um material contendo óxido metálico em um reator de leito fluidizado (1 a 3) pelo método de leito fluidizado e pela subseq³ente fundição do material reduzido e um gasificador de fundição (10), no gasificador de fundição (10) é gerado, a partir de um material contendo carbono, um gás de redução que é usado para reduzir o material contendo óxido metálico pelo método de leito fluidizado. Assim, tanto a redução quanto a fundição são efetuadas sob pressão atmosférica em excesso. Com o propósito de transferir o material reduzido a partir do reator de leito fluidizado (3) para o gasificador de fundição (10) de uma maneira simples, uma pressão mais baixa em relação ao reator de leito fluidizado (3) é estabelecida em um recipiente intermediário (31) situado acima do gasificador de fundição (10), e o material reduzido pode fluir, sob relaxamento, para cima a partir do reator de leito fluidizado (3) para dentro do recipiente intermediário (31) e conduzido a partir do recipiente intermediário (31) através de um sistema de comportas (34, 38) para dentro do gasificador de fundição (10) enquanto estando pressurizado.
