Abstract
"ESQUEMA DE ANTENA ADAPTATIVA BASEADA EM LOCALIZAçãO PARA APLICAçõES DE DADOS SEM FIO". é fornecido um sistema para adaptar e ajustar um feixe de enlace inverso e um feixe de enlace direto que acoplam uma unidade móvel específica a uma estação base para transmissão/recepção de dados. Os enlaces direto e inverso podem ser dinamicamente ajustados para alterar os requisitos da taxas de dados, alterar a posição da unidade móvel em relação à estação base e alterar o SNR. De acordo com um aspecto da invenção, diversos elementos de antena adaptativa para os enlaces direto e inverso estão situados na estação base. Além do hardware convencional de formação de feixe, o conjunto de circuitos de formação de feixes de cada antena está acoplado a um detector de localização móvel para detectar a localização de uma unidade móvel com a qual a estação base estiver comunicando. Uma vez determinada a localização da unidade móvel, o formador de feixes orienta um feixe de ganho elevado, estreito, customizado para aquela unidade móvel para formar o enlace desejado.
