A vacuum pressure casting process, intended for the production of non-ferrous alloy castings, comprising the steps of: maintaining a non-ferrous alloy material in a molten state in a preservation furnace (11); transferring a pre-established amount of said material from the oven (11) to a mold (18), in injectors; compress the material into the mold and allow it to cool. The material, during the various stages, is continuously protected from contact with air, in regions not occupied by the containment elements, by a gas atmosphere, which protects from contamination and the danger of oxidation, the gas having a higher relative density than air.
