Abstract

"BRAçADEIRA E APARELHO DE MANUSEIO DE TUBOS". A invenção se refere a uma braçadeira para manuseio de tubos (26, 28) para uso em um navio lançador de tubos em águas profundas. A disposição inclui um conjunto de elementos pistão (60) constrangidos para se movimentar ao longo de um primeiro eixo, no sentido de um suporte fixo (40, 42) e um elemento cunha operado hidraulicamente (62) é acionado transversalmente ao primeiro eixo, de modo a agir entre cada elemento de pistão (60) e o dito suporte fixo, para realizar um movimento para reter um tubo 16. O pistão axial e o pistão radial têm superfícies inclinadas complementares, enchavetadas entre si (70), de modo a empurrar e puxar o pistão radial, em resposta à pressão hidráulica nas respectivas câmaras.
