Abstract

"PNEU PARA RODAS DE VEìCULOS, PARTICULARMENTE PARA RODAS DIRECIONADORAS DE VEìCULOS A MOTOR PARA TRANPORTE PESADO". A presente invenção diz respeito a um pneu desenhado para ser montado nos eixos motrizes de um veículo motorizado de transporte médio e pesado. Este pneu é provido com uma banda de rodagem (3) que compreende diversos sulcos transversais de profundidades satisfatórias (9) e quatro séries de incisões circunferenciais inclinadas (5, 6, 7 e 8) que delimitam cinco fileiras circunferenciais de ressaltos, a saber, duas fileiras axialmente externas (11 e 12), duas fileiras intermediárias (13 e 14), e uma fileira central (10), as quais ficam essencialmente transversais ao plano equatorial. Cada sulco transversal (9) se estende por toda a largura da banda de rodagem e consiste de uma região central (20), localizada entre um par de ressaltos consecutivos (19) da fileira central (10), e de um par de regiões laterais (21 e 22), localizado entre os pares de ressaltos consecutivos (40) das fileiras intermediárias e o ombro. As duas regiões laterais (21 e 22) de cada sulco transversal ficam escalonadas circunferencialmente uma em relação à outra e penetram no corpo da fileira central (10) dos ressaltos.
