Abstract

"RáPIDA ABSORçãO DE OXIGêNIO PELO USO DE ATIVADORES". é tomada possível a absorção de oxigênio de um espaço fechado numa taxa rápida, particularmente em embalagem de alimentos, introduzindo-se uma mistura de álcool-água como um ativador para sistemas absorvedores baseados em ferro, incluindo preferencialmente um ácido para controlar o pH. Os álcoois preferidos são os álcoois alifáticos, particularmente os alcanóis monoídricos, tais como metanol, etanol, n-propanol, Isopropanol, sec-butanol e t-butanol. Tais combinações de absorvedores ativadores são capazes de reduzir rapidamente o oxigênio numa embalagem fechada. Um ácido preferido é o ácido ortofosfórico usado numa quantidade suficiente para estabelecer um pH de cerca de 0,6 à 4.
