A presente invenção refere-se a um método para prolongar a vida útil do aroma de composições aquosas aromatizadas com aromas sensíveis à umidade e ao ácido. O aumento da vida útil de aroma é obtido combinando um ácido orgânico comestível e um sal divalente comestível com um aroma sensível à umidade e ao ácido.
