Abstract

"MéTODO E EQUIPAMENTO PARA MINIMIZAR A ENERGIA TOTAL DE TRANSMISSãO EM UM SISTEMA DE COMUNICAçãO PELO USO DA QUALIDADE DO CANAL". Um método e um equipamento para a transmissão de um sinal com um nível predeterminado de confiabilidade usando a retransmissão de frames transmitidos erroneamente de forma a minimizar a energia total de transmissão. A estação transmissora avalia a taxa de erro de frame (FER) como uma função da energia. A seguir, a estação transmissora determina uma combinação de energias de transmissão iniciais e energias de retransmissão que irá prover o nível meta de confiabilidade, minimizando concomitantemente a energia total de transmissão empregada na transmissão inicial e nas retransmissões. A estação transmissora transmite um frame com uma energia de transmissão inicial. Empregando métodos de realimentação convencionais a estação transmissora é alertada sobre a ocorrência de erros de frames na estação receptora. A estação transmissora, quando da notificação de um erro de frame , retransmite o frame com uma energia determinada para minimizar a energia total requerida para transmitir o frame com um nível predeterminado de confiabilidade.
