Abstract

Patente de Invenção: "PROCESSO PARA OPERAR UM MOTOR DE COMBUSTãO INTERNA". A presente invenção descreve um motor de combustão interna (1), especialmente de um automóvel, que possui uma câmara de combustão (4), na qual pode ser injetado combustível num modo de operação rico e pobre. O motor de combustão interna (1) possui um catalisador (12) onde são armazenados óxidos nítricos. Um aparelho de controle (18) é previsto para a comutação entre o modo de operação rico e pobre. O aparelho de controle (18) determina uma função de qualidade (G) para o armazenamento de óxidos nítricos no catalisador (12). O aparelho de controle (18) influencia também a comutação entre os modos de operação em dependência da função de qualidade (G).
