Abstract

Uma abertura é formada no segundo refletor para permitir que a radiação seja transmitida da fonte localizada no ponto focal do primeiro refletor no sentido do primeiro refletor, e uma abertura é formada no primeiro refletor para permitir que a radiação refletida e focalizada pelo segundo refletor seja transmitida para um alvo localizado no ponto focal do segundo refletor. Uma lente, tendo o mesmo eixo óptico comum e os mesmos pontos focais dos primeiro e segundo refletores, é posicionado entre os refletores para coletar e condensar a radiação que seria de outro modo perdida pelas aberturas formadas nos respectivos refletores.
