Abstract
Patente de Invenção "SISTEMA óPTICO PARA COLETA E CONDENSAçãO DE LUZ". Um sistema de coleta e condensação inclui um conjunto de refletores dispostos em pares tendo um primeiro refletor, ou de coleta, que coleta a radiação emitida de uma fonte de radiação e colima a radiação coletada em feixes paralelos direcionados para uma parte de um segundo refletor, ou de condensação ou focalização, que focaliza a luz em um alvo ao longo do eixo óptico comum partilhado pelos dois refletores. Uma abertura é formada no segundo refletor para permitir que a radiação seja transmitida da fonte localizada no ponto focal do primeiro refletor no sentido do primeiro refletor, e uma abertura é formada no primeiro refletor para permitir que a radiação refletida e focalizada pelo segundo refletor seja transmitida para um alvo localizado no ponto focal do segundo refletor. Uma lente, tendo o mesmo eixo óptico comum e os mesmos pontos focais dos primeiro e segundo refletores, é posicionado entre os refletores para coletar e condensar a radiação que seria de outro modo perdida pelas aberturas formadas nos respectivos refletores. O sistema global produz um aumento substancialmente unitário. Além disso, um retro-refletor pode ser incorporado para aumentar a densidade de fluxo total no alvo. Fontes eletromagnéticas múltiplas e conjuntos de refletores dispostos em pares associados podem ser dispostos em cascata ao longo do eixo óptico comum, para aumentar o brilho no alvo.
