"PROCESSO DE REAçõES CATALISADAS POR áCIDO". A presente invenção refere-se a reações catalisadas por ácido para produzir éteres, acetais, cetais ou alcenos. A reação foi realizada na presença de um catalisador heterogêneo sob condições próximas de GB0000672 ou supercríticas de temperatura e pressão. As reações da presente invenção têm o benefício de melhores rendimentos e/ou seletividades poderem ser obtidos. Em alguns casos, podem ser obtidos produtos que não estão prontamente disponíveis por reações convencionais catalisadas por ácidos de álcoois.
