"APARELHO E PROCESSO PARA LIMPAR UM CONJUNTO DE COMBUSTìVEL NUCLEAR IRRADIADO". Um aparelho (20) para limpeza de um conjunto de combustível irradiado (70) inclui um alojamento (24) adaptado para se engatar com um conjunto de combustível nuclear (70). Uma série de transdutores ultra-sónicos (22) é posicionada no alojamento (24) para fornecer energia ultra-sónica onidirecional radial mente emanada para remover depósitos do conjunto de combustível nuclear (70).
