Abstract

"DISPOSITIVO PARA OBSERVAR UM CORPO, ESPECIALMENTE UM OLHO". A invenção trata de um dispositivo para observar um corpo, um olho, compreendendo meios para iluminar (12) o corpo (5), meios para amostrar (400, 450,500, 700) a luz proveniente de uma região iluminada (01) do corpo e meios de compensação (20) para medir uma deformação da frente de onda de um feixe proveniente de um ponto do corpo (5) e para aplicar à luz amostrada pelos meios de amostragem (400, 450, 500, 700) uma correção calculada na base da deformação medida. A invenção é caracterizada pelo fato dos meios de amostragem e os meios de compensação serem de tal maneira dispostos que, para cada ponto do corpo usado para calcular a correção, os meios de amostragem amostra a luz sobre uma zona selecionada do corpo suficientemente próxima do ponto de cálculo para a deformação da frente de onda proveniente de qualquer ponto daquela zona deve ser a mesma daquela proveniente dóo ponto de cálculo mais ou menos dentro de uma fração de um comprimento de onda, e o dispositivo inclui meios (400, 450, 500, 700) para automaticamente mudar o ponto do corpo (5) usado para o cálculo de correção e para mudar sincronicamente a zona de amostragem associada, de tal maneira que o dispositivo explora o corpo observado por intermédio de uma série das ditas zonas sucessivas para cada uma das quais a deformação da frente de onda derivada de qualquer ponto na zona é idêntica, mais ou menos dentro de uma fração de comprimento de onda para a deformação da frente de onda derivada do ponto de cálculo associado.
