Abstract

"MéTODO E EQUIPAMENTO PARA DETERMINAR A LOCALIZAçãO DE UMA ESTAçãO REMOTA EM UMA REDE DE COMUNICAçãO CDMA". Um equipamento e um método para localizar uma estação remota em uma rede de comunicações síncrona usando a hora de chegada de um sinal piloto de referência na estação remota como uma referência de tempo. A diferença de tempo de chegada (TDOA) de sinais GPS recebidos pela estação remota e outros sinais recebidos a partir de uma estação base, é medida com relação a tal tempo de referência. A partir de tais medições é determinada a localização da estação remota. A invenção trata a questão da localização como um problema de TDOA.
