Abstract

"MéTODO PARA DIAGNOSTICAR DIFERENCIALMENTE EMONITORAR CARCINOMAS MALIGNOS DE MAMA". Um painelde biomarcadores para o diagnóstico e tratamento de câncer demama foi examinado na saliva de uma amostragem de 1) mulheressaudáveis, 2) mulheres com lesões benignas de mama e 3)mulheres com câncer de mama diagnosticado. Reconhecidosmarcadores de tumor c-erbB-2 (erb), antígeno de câncer 15-3 (CA15-3), e proteína 53 oncogênica supressora de tumor (p53) foramencontrados na saliva de todos os três grupos de mulheres. Osníveis de erb e CA 15-3 nos pacientes com câncer avaliados,contudo, eram significativamente mais altos do que os níveissalivares dos controles saudáveis e dos pacientes com tumorbenigno. Por outro lado, os níveis de pantrópico p53 eram maisaltos nos controles em comparação àquelas mulheres com câncerde mama e aquelas com tumores benignos.
