Umartigo absorvente possuindo um revestimento de contato com ocorpo inclui uma formulação em loção na superficie externa voltadapara o corpo deste. A formulação em loção compreende de cercade 5 a cerca de 95% em peso de um emoliente, de cerca de 5 acerca de 95% em peso de uma cera, e de cerca de 0,1 a cerca de25% de um melhorador de viscosidade. A formulação em loçãopossui um nivel reduzido de migração que leva à transferênciamelhorada à pele. A formulação em loção atua como umlubrificante para reduzir a abrasão da pele causada pelorevestimento e também transfere-se à pele para fornecer saúdemelhorada à pele.
