Abstract

Patente de Invenção: "APARELHO E MéTODO PARA DIGITAçãO RáPIDA". Um método e aparelho de digitação rápida possuindo várias letras associadas com cada tecla de um teclado. Pela utilização de vários caractéres em cada tecla, o número de teclas seria menor do que o número de letras no alfabeto utilizando-se este sistema (por exemplo, menos do que 26 teclas de letra para o alfabeto Inglês). Cada tecla no teclado está associada com um código numérico. O sistema utiliza o código numérico associado com uma palavra digitada para acessar um dicionário ou tabela de palavras armazenadas na memória em uma localização da memória correspondendo ao código numérico de entrada. O sistema pode exibir todas as palavras disponíveis para o usuário em resposta ao código de entrada. O usuário então seleciona uma das palavras disponíveis para ser colocada no documento. Alternativamente, o sistema pode permitir a exibição de uma ou mais palavras preferidas. As teclas do teclado podem ser contornadas de modo que o usuário percebe a posição de sua mão em relação às teclas do teclado. O sistema de digitação também é implementado por um dispositivo montado no dedo possuindo chaves. O dispositivo montado no dedo também pode ser utilizados em conjunto com um ou mais painéis de seleção de entrada. Os painéis possuem teclas que podem ser selecionadas pelo usuário em conjunto com as chaves.
