Abstract
"MéTODO E DISPOSITIVO PARA CODIFICAçãO DE UM SINAL, CODIFICADOR, SISTEMA DE CâMERA, MéTODO DE DECODIFICAçãO, DECODIFICADOR ESCALONáVEL, RECEPTOR, CORRENTE DE BITS ESCALONáVEL, E, MEIO DE ARMAZENAMENTO" Sinal tendo blocos de valores é codificado por: produção de respectivas correntes de bits (DCT_1 ... DCT_N) para respectivos blocos individuais e obtenção de uma corrente de bits escalonável pela varredura cíclica e seq³encial de partes selecionadas (P1, P2, ...) das respectivas correntes de bits (DCT_1 ... DCT_N) dos respectivos blocos individuais, em que, em um dado ciclo de varredura, as respectivas correntes de bits e o dado ciclo de varredura começa em um bloco aproximadamente em um centro da imagem codificada. Em outra concretização, os blocos representam uma imagem codificada e o dado ciclo de varredura varre as respectivas correntes de bits em uma ordem de imagem adaptável sendo determinada por um critério predeterminado, tal como um valor de contraste.
