Patente de Invenção: <B>"SISTEMA DE CONTROLE QUE UTILIZA ORIFìCIOS DE CORREIA VIRTUAIS"<D>. Um sistema e método para controle do dispositivo de formação de imagem em uma máquina eletrofotográfica multicolorida de passe único, compreendendo um membro fotocondutor que define uma abertura de temporização, o membro movendo-se ao longo de uma trajeto em uma máquina de impressão e uma pluralidade de dispositivos de formação de imagem, cada um da pluralidade de dispositivos de formação de imagem escrevendo uma imagem latente no membro fotocondutor. O sistema ainda inclui um sensor, localizado adjacente ao membro fotocondutor, para detectar a abertura no membro fotocondutor à medida que ele passa o sensor e gera um sinal indicativo do mesmo e um dispositivo de controle, que gera um sinal de temporização para cada um da pluralidade de dispositivo de formação de imagem como uma função do sinal gerado pelo sensor e uma pluralidade de parâmetros predeterminados.
