Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"REDUçãO DE PURGAçãO INTERCORES EM IMPRESSãO COM TINTA LìQUIDA"<D>. A presente invenção proporciona um método para processamento de dados de imagem colorida para impressão em uma impressora jato de tinta a fim de reduzir a purgação intercores em uma imagem gravada em um meio de recebimento. O método recebe um pixel alvo compreendendo múltiplos pixels de separação, em que cada separação está associada com um plano de cor separado e tem pelo menos três estados, um primeiro estado correspondendo a não deposição de gotas de tinta, um segundo estado correspondendo à deposição de uma gota de tinta e um terceiro estado correspondendo à deposição de mais de uma gota de tinta. O método ainda inclui a determinação de se o pixel alvo está dentro de uma região de borda preta perto de uma interface preto/cor ou dentro de uma região de borda de cor perto de uma interface preto/cor. Se o pixel alvo estiver dentro de uma região de borda preta, o método substitui o pixel alvo por um pixel de saída de borda preta de derivado de um padrão de modificação de pixel preto, identificando uma disposição de pixels de separação, a fim de depositar, aproximadamente, uma gota para cada localização de pixel no padrão de modificação de pixel preto. Similarmente, se o pixel alvo estiver dentro de uma região de borda de cor perto de uma interface preto/cor, o método substitui o pixel alvo por um pixel de borda de cor derivados de um padrão de modificação de pixel de cor para cada plano de cor não preto que deposita, aproximadamente, uma gota para cada localização de pixel.
