Abstract

"AMIDO CAPAZ DE INCHAR EM áGUA FRIA E PROCESSOPARA A SUA PREPARAçãO". A presente invenção é dirigida aamidos que podem inchar em água fria, que apresentam umdesenvolvimento atrasado de viscosidade, à preparação e ao usodos mesmos. os amidos que podem inchar em água fria sãopreparados usando-se métodos conhecidos na técnica, e são,então, compactados. Esses amidos provêem todas as vantagensdo amido de CWS, incluindo textura, corpo pesado, brilho lustrosoe viscosidade. Entretanto, a taxa de hidratação pode sercontrolada, para atrasar o desenvolvimento de viscosidade. Essesamidos podem ser usados para uma variedade de aplicaçõesindustriais, incluindo produtos alimentícios, produtos de cuidadospessoais, purificadores, detergentes liquidos e amaciantes detecido, perfuração de poços de petróleo e tintas, e para permitir umprocessamento mais fácil desses produtos.
