Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B> "MéTODO PARA INIBIçãO DE MUDANçA DE COR EM UM ARTIGO DE PLáSTICO CONTENDO ANTIMICROBIANOS BASEADOS EM PRATA"<D>. Esta invenção refere-se a aperfeiçoamentos na inibição da descoloração de artigos de plástico nos quais tenham sido introduzidos antimicrobianos baseados em prata. Tal método requer a utilização de quantidades muito baixas de removedores ácidos ou estabilizantes tal como o hidroxicarbonato de alumínio- magnésio, de outro modo conhecido como hidrotalcita (e não um composto baseado em zinco). Tais hidrotalcitas são de custo muito baixo, fáceis de manusear, e, utilizadas em níveis muito baixos em combinação com um antimicrobiano baseado em prata numa composição plástica, de modo surpreendente impedem substancialmente a geração de cores esteticamente desagradáveis e indesejáveis.
