Abstract
Patente de Invenção: <B>"MéTODO E APARELHO PARA EXTINçãO A SECO DE COQUE"<D>. A presente invenção fornece um método e um aparelho para a extinção a seco de coque; em que uma torre de extinção (1) que consiste em uma câmara de resfriamento (2) e uma pré-câmara (3) localizada acima dela é utilizada, o coque incandescente (9) é carregado na torre de extinção por cima, o calor sensível do dito coque incandescente é trocado dentro da câmara de resfriamento utilizando um gás inerte como um meio de troca de calor, e o calor é recuperado como vapor; cujo método é caracterizado pelo fato de injetar água ou vapor (26) juntamente com o ar (24) na pré-câmara (3) por cima.
