Abstract

"DISJUNTOR COM COLAR TERMINAL DE FORMA NãO SIMéTRICA" A presente invenção se relaciona a disjuntores de caixa moldada tendo contatos principais separáveis e um mecanismo de operação utilizado para fazer os contatos principais separáveis abrirem e fecharem. A unidade de disparo é provida para atuar um mecanismo de operação em circunstâncias desejadas. Os disjuntores têm terminais externos conectáveis a uma carga e a uma fonte de energia externa. Um colar é usado para interconectar os terminais de disjuntor com carga e energia externas. O colar terminal, neste caso não é simétrico. O colar não simétrico provê duas funções: a primeira é que a trajetória de corrente elétrica entre colares adjacentes é aumentada para aplicações de maior voltagem em virtude da natureza não simétrica de cada colar; e em segundo lugar, a caixa de disjuntor tem um assento com seção transversal igual a do colar não simétrico, de modo que o colar possa somente ser inserido na mesma, segundo orientação seccional transversal.
