Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"PROCESSO E SISTEMA PARA AJUSTAR IMAGENS BINáRIAS"<D>. Processo e sistema que convertem uma imagem binária eletrónica em outra imagem binária eletrónica com a compensação das diferenças entre as respostas da impressora, de modo que uma impressora alvo possa imprimir a imagem para emular como a imagem apareceria, se impressa por uma impressora originalmente determinada ou outra impressora. Uma imagem binária pronta para impressão é introduzida em um circuito de simulação de impressão e varredura que eletronicamente simula a impressão e a varredura dos dados de imagem. O circuito de simulação de impressão e varredura converte os dados de imagem binária em dados de imagem de escala de cinza. Os dados de imagem de escala de cinza são então processados por um circuito de correção de resposta de tonalidade. O circuito de correção de resposta de tonalidade altera os dados da imagem de escala de cinza com base na direção entre as curvas de reprodução de tonalidade das duas impressoras, tal como uma impressora originalmente determinada e uma impressora alvo. Isto muda o valor de cada pixel, de modo que ele finalmente produza a mesma densidade na impressora alvo, quando ele for convertido em forma binária e impresso, como seria, se a imagem binária original fosse impressa na impressora originalmente determinada. Estes dados de imagem de escala de cinza alterados são então enviados para um circuito de binarização, que converte os dados de imagem de escala de cinza em uma imagem binária. A imagem binária pode então ser enviada auma impressora, tal como uma impressora alvo, de modo que a qualidade da imagem binária impressa simule como ela teria sido impressa na impressora originalmente determinada.
