Abstract

By the method wastes are decontaminated by the extraction of the soluble metal fractions where the extraction is carried out by chloride-containing aqueous solutions. The solution to be extractes consists of diluted solution of hydrochloric acid for treatment of residues of base character or from a solution of a chloride of alkaline or alkali-earth metal for the treatment of residues of neutral character.
