Abstract
The collectors are used in the froth flotation for the utilization or ores containing valuable minerals. Whith them valuable metal sulphides are selectively obtained, and pyrhites, pyrotite and other gangue sulphide minerals are rejected. The collector composition comprise at least one hydrocarboxy-carbonyl thiocarbamate compound selected from the group compounds of the general formula where in the formula I R1 and R2 are each independently, saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbyl, alkylpolyether and aromatic radicals, each R1 and R2 radicals, optionally independently being substituted with polar groups selected from halogen, nitrile and nitro groups; in formula II, R1 is selected from hydrogen or R2; and R2 means saturated and unsaturated hydrocarbyl, hydrocarboxy and aromatic radicals; and R3 is selected from saturated and unsaturated hydrocarbyl, alkyl-polyether and aromatic radicals, said R2 and R3 radicals optinally indenpendently being substituted by polar groups such as halogen, nitrile and nitro groups.
