Abstract

The method applies to the industrial production of high-quality goose or duck meat and liver. An effective use of the floor area in the rooms is ensured, the energy costs for heating and lighting of the building decreases, the stress and the death-rate of the growing-up fowl decrease significantly and their growth rate increases. By the use of this method growing-up water-fowl are bred in a cyclic-line feeding regime of the corresponding batch. In case of three, four and six-cyclic feeding, the dwell time of each age group of water fowl from the corresponding batch is respectively 30 or (27), 21 (or 15) days of the total number of days spent in the poultry farm respectively 84 (or 75) days for a three-cyclic, 76 days for four-cyclic and 78 days for six-cyclic feeding regime. The density of poultry for each separate room is from 10 to 3.5 birds/m<2> and is related to the effective area of each separate room in the building. The needed food and watering front is regulated once when the age groups pass from one room into another, and the special features of the poultry of each growing up group are taken into account.
