Abstract

The additive is used in the production of Portland cements and mixed binding agents. It contains a reduced amount of natural gypsum (needed for controlling the cement setting time), can be fed to the cement mill without redesigning the equipment, releases no dust to the environment and is handy in transportation and feeding. The additive consists of 40-60 percent of basic ash powder containing calcium and magnesium oxides at a ratio of 1.1 to 1.2 and silica and alumina in the amount of 60-40 percent of acidic sulphate ash powder containing 6-12 percent SO3.
