Abstract

The method may be used for the purification of hydrocarbon fractions from impurities containing acetylene and dyene hydrocarbons. It enhances productivity and may be further enhanced through the usage of a hydrocarbon raw material with high content (of up to 100 pm) of sulphuric compounds. In effect, the method boils down to the following: the liquid hydrocarbon fraction containing between 20 to 99% olephynes, is treated with hydrogen in the presence of a hard palladic catalyst at temperature of between 293 to 373 degrees Kalvin and at pressure of between 0.1 to 2.0 MPa. The process named selective hydration is carried out in the presence of a catalyst of the following content in per cent: between 0.03 to 2.0 palladium, between 0.01 to 2.0 of chrome, between 0.05 to 1.5 of carbon and up to 100 alluminum oxide, at a volumic speed of the liquid hydrocarbon raw material of between 8.5 to 10.0<-1> and content of sulphuric combinations (H2S and COS) of up to 100 mg/kg.
